A variety of perfectly prepared ski slopes, certainty of snow, and many spectacular events make the Ski Resort of Obereggen, together with Pampeago and Predazzo, to one of the most popular ski centres of South Tyrol/Dolomites. All together: beautiful views, fantastic hotels, and lively après-ski huts, and a distance of only 20 km from Bolzano, make Obereggen all the more pleasant.

From 26 November 2010 (19 h) until 25 April 2011 the ski season in Obereggen is open. 18 up-to-date lifts (14 chair lifts, 2 cable cars and 2 ski lifts) take the skiers up from 1550 to 2500 metres. In between there are 48 km of perfectly prepared ski slopes or, in figures, 25% blue slopes (easy), 60% red slopes (medium difficulty), and 15% black slopes (very difficult). A high standard of snow certainty is guaranteed by a modern system of snow cannons, which is working as a complement the whole season, creating dreamlike conditions.
