100 km of the best tracks in Europe for cross-country skiers

The plateaus of Nova Ponente and Monte San Pietro are the ideal areas for cross-country skiers. The perfectly prepared tracks wind their way through the idyllic landscape of Nova Ponente (1350 m) and Monte San Pietro (1380 m). Long-winding tracks lead through a breath-taking nature to remote farms, some of them inviting you for a break.

In Nova Ponente and in Monte San Pietro the start of the cross-country tracks are in the middle of the village. From Nova Ponente cross-country skiers can admire an enchanting nature along 25 km of tracks, giving you the possibility to start from several points. The quiet village of Monte San Pietro offers the skier 10 km of sun-bathed tracks, directly below the place of pilgrimage of Pietralba. More than 80 km of cross-country tracks lead the skier, below the Corno Bianco and the Corno Nero, to the Lavazè pass.
